A LASTING IMPACT
Hockey is more than just a game on the ice! We are proud to support local organizations and initiatives that make the game and it's player better both on and off the ice.
HFC Assist
The Washington Capitals are proud to partner with Hockey Fights Cancer Assist!
Hockey Fights Cancer Assist is a national program in partnership between the American Cancer Society (ACS) and the National Hockey League. By supporting the ACS through HFC Assist, funds raised through this partnership with the National Hockey League support patient services such as the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge®, Road to Recovery® programs and the ACS help line.
How does HFC Assist work?
-
- Register your local youth hockey team! Once you sign up, a representative will reach out to equip you and your team with all the online tools, as well as send you official HFC helmet stickers and lavender stick tape!
- Last season over 13 local teams participated, raising over $40,000.
- The Capitals support local participating teams by providing giveaways, extra tape, and prices for top fundraisers.
