JESSIE THOMPSON

Jessie Thompson is entering her 11th season as the Sr. Manager of of Youth Hockey Development and she oversees all on-ice programs, ALL CAPS ALL HER initiatives, HS hockey, marquee events, and digital media. A Potomac, MD native, Jessie played hockey at Holton-Arms School in Bethesda. She went on to earn her BA from the University of Richmond and then headed to Georgetown University to get her MPS in Sports Management. Jessie has coached hockey at various levels, including serving as Assistant Coach Holton (2021-present) and Head Coach of the Washington Jr. Capitals Girls 19U AAA Elite. Jessie has been with the Capitals for nine years and was honored with the NHL “Stanley” award for Best Social Impact Initiative for ALL CAPS ALL HER in 2024. A fun fact about Jessie is that she was a competitive tap dancer for 12 years growing up!
