CIHL
The Capitals Inline Hockey League (CIHL) is a co-ed league established to provide a unified travel league for existing inline players looking to expand their opportunities to play.
Learn to Play Inline
(Coming Soon) The Washington Capitals Learn to Play Inline Hockey program is our next step in Inline Hockey. Participants will learn basic skating, stickhandling, passing, and shooting skills.
Learn to Skate Inline
The Learn to Inline Skate program offers free inline skating clinics to kids ages 5-17. Participants will receive age-appropriate introductory instruction on the fundamentals of Inline hockey skating.
CBHL
(Coming Soon) The Washington Capitals Ball Hockey League offers kids a chance to play organized, team-based hockey without the need for skates. The league is an accessible way to get involved in the sport.
Sticks & Sneakers LTP
Sticks & Sneakers Learn to Play Ball Hockey is a series of off-ice hockey clinics designed to improve upon your skills in an affordable way. Improve upon your passing, stickhandling, or shooting skills in one of our clinics.
Try Hockey for Free
The Washington Capitals Try Hockey for Free program offers ball hockey clinics to kids ages 5-17 in order to provide FREE access to the game for kids and families across the Washington D.C. area.
Hockey School
The Washington Capitals Hockey School program, presented by Capital One, is aimed at providing access and introducing the sport of hockey to children in elementary and middle schools across the DMV.
Birthday Parties
You choose to host in your driveway, backyard or a Capitals street rink, the Capitals Youth Hockey Development staff will supply all the necessary equipment to have ball hockey at your kids birthday.
Baltimore Tournament
Since 2010 the Washington Capitals have hosted a Baltimore Street Hockey Tournament in Baltimore City. This tournament was designed to provide community centers the opportunity to be introduced to hockey.
