Capitalize on Your Celebration!
Ball Hockey is an exciting, engaging and unique activity for your child’s birthday party to create a lasting memory. The beauty of ball hockey is that it can be played at any level. Let your kid’s next birthday party be the event kids and parents rave about. The Washington Capitals Youth Hockey Development staff will take care of everything from set-up to take-down.
Whether you choose to host in your driveway, backyard or a Capitals street rink, the Capitals Youth Hockey Development staff will supply all the necessary equipment to have ball hockey at your kids birthday. Kids can play ball hockey and get tips and tricks from our trained staff, along with a gift bag for all partygoers and an exclusive gift for the birthday kid.
Please use this form below to request a Capitals Birthday Party Package for your next party. All appearances are based on availability and approval by the Washington Capitals Youth Hockey Development staff.
*Waivers are required for all party attendees participating in ball hockey activities. Limit of 30 participants

Rink package - $200
Party at a local rink!
- Nets, sticks, and balls

- Rink reservations must be booked by party host/organizer (contact can be provided upon request)
Blue package: $150
Great for small spaces!
- Don't have a lot of space? That's okay - we can set up activities in your backyard!
- Inflatable net (5' x 8' x 5) with sticks and balls

- Waivers are required for all party attendees participating in ball hockey activities and digital waiver will be sent to party host
- Limit of 30 participants per party
- Birthday party packages do not include on-ice activities. Any requests for an on-ice party will be declined
- Party locations must be within 50 miles of Washington, D.C.
- All requests must be made a minimum of 4 weeks prior to the party
- Party requests are subject to Caps Youth Hockey Development availability and are not guaranteed
Outdoor Rinks
- If you are interested in hosting your party at one of our outdoor ball/inline hockey rinks, please inform us on the registration form. Local Parks & Recreation website will have contact information for reserving the rink in your community.
